Overview
Global Rare Meds is a specialized healthcare access brand operated by Index Corporation. The company facilitates access to specialty and unregistered medicines not available in India through the government-approved Named Patient Programme. Collaborating with global pharmaceutical distributors, Global Rare Meds supports individuals and healthcare providers in obtaining critical therapies legally, ethically, and efficiently based on valid medical prescriptions.

Challenges & Requirements
The primary objective was to develop a digital platform that effectively communicates Global Rare Meds’ mission and services. Key challenges and requirements included presenting informative content that clearly explains offerings like the Named Patient Programme and Clinical Drug Sourcing, ensuring that visitors understand how the service works. It was also essential to make the product catalog accessible, with categorized listings across Oncology, Hematology, Cardio, and other specialties, each with detailed information. The website needed to foster user engagement through intuitive inquiry forms and clear communication channels.

Key Features Implemented
To address these challenges, several key features were thoughtfully integrated into the Global Rare Meds website. Structured service pages were developed to clearly explain core offerings like the Named Patient Programme and Clinical Drug Sourcing, helping visitors understand the process and requirements with ease. A comprehensive product listing system was implemented, categorizing medications by therapeutic area and offering detailed pages for each drug, including information on usage, dosage, and sourcing. Inquiry forms were embedded on relevant pages to allow users to make direct, product-specific queries. Additionally, a dedicated “Insights & Updates” section was added to share timely articles and news on rare medications and healthcare access, enhancing credibility and ongoing engagement.
